Exeter
15:00 - Killer Kane 7/2 WIN
The Tizzard’s seemed to have found the key to this horse as he improved rapidly for the application of a tongue strap which saw him win races at Kempton and then Sandown before finishing his season with a strong 3rd in a competitive Aintree handicap.
He comes into the season off a mark of 130 which I believe should have some wiggle room. Joe Tizzard is also operating at a 29% strike rate in the last 14 days which is another positive to Killer Kane’s cause.

15:35 - Third Time Lucki 13/8 WIN
This looks a fantastic opportunity for Dan Skelton’s gelding to get off the mark nice and early this season. He is very effective fresh from a break despite, winning on his comeback run in both 2020 and 2021.
A talented hurdler a few years back, he made the transition to fences quite smoothly, winning 3 out of 6 starts. I think he can beat his main market rivals today who have flaws on their returns, with Greaneteen who usually improves for a run and War Lord who prefers softer ground. I expect Third Time Lucki to be bounced out to stop him being so keen and if his jumping holds up will be hold to peg back.
