Torino v Juventus

17:00 BST, Saturday

TV Channel: BT Sport

Torino 2/1, Draw 21/10, Juventus 6/4

Both teams over 1.5 cards and Over 1.5 goals in the match – 6/4

A huge Italian Derby is where I start with todays tips. Derby Della Mole has grown in significance in recent years as Torino have closed the gap between the two rivals. A win here for the home side would see them leapfrog their neighbours and step out of the shadow of Juventus. However, wins haven’t come easy for Torino in this fixture. They have won just 1 out of the last 34 competitive matches between the sides, losing 25.

You tend to see cards in a fixture with such importance, both for bragging rights and league position. As the away side I expect to see Juventus pick up a number of cards. They have seen 14 yellow cards this season and I think we’ll see this number rise significantly after Saturday. Torino have picked up over 1.5 cards in 8 of their 9 Serie A matches this season, including their last 7 in a row. We won’t have a problem with them picking up over 1.5 cards either so I’m going for both teams.

I’m expecting goals in this fixture with both teams needing a win. I’m going for a simple over 1.5 goals in the match. I can’t see this being a boring 0-0/1-0. Juventus haven’t looked like the side we’ve seen in recent years and look vulnerable. Torino will look to capitalize on this and I think we’ll see a high scoring game.

Score Prediction: Torino 1-2 Juventus (9/1)

Tottenham v Everton

17:30 BST, Saturday

TV Channel: Sky Sports

Tottenham 1/2, Draw 7/2, Everton 11/2

Both teams over 1.5 cards & Spurs over 4.5 corners – 7/5

Fresh from their much-needed Champions League triumph Spurs are back in Domestic action against a rejuvenated Everton side. The Toffees have steadied the ship after a shaky start to the season and now find themselves in a comfortable 12th place. They have won 2 of their last 3 matches and have only lost 1 of their previous 8. Spurs have won 7 home league games in a row and dispatched Lampard’s men 5-0 in this fixture last season.

Spurs have picked up at least 2 bookings in 5 of their last 7 league games whilst Everton have achieved this feat in 8 of their 9 Premier League games this season, including their last 7 games in a row. The man in the middle, Paul Tierney, had shown 31 yellow cards in his 7 Premier League games this campaign so is not shy of getting his slice of cheese out. Both teams to pick up over 1.5 cards is my fancy in that market.

I’ve turned to the corner market for my final selection of this treble. Tottenham win plenty of corners when playing at home. They have taken 34 corners in just 4 league matches at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium this season, an average of 8.5 corners per match. I’m going for a safe bet of over 4.5 corners for Spurs in this one as the Everton defence has dramatically improved in recent weeks so may not give away as many corners as previous visitors.

Score Prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Everton (6/1)
