14:40 - Ascot

This looks a competitive renewal of the Victoria Cup and I think this could be the day ROI DE FRANCE lands a big pot.

He has been knocking at the door in recent efforts and should have perfect conditions today with a stiff 7f on good ground.

He is also drawn high in stall 18 which looks a positive on past trends in this race and also the fact there is more pace on that side of the draw.

If everything drops right, I could see him being fairly impressive and at 9/2, I am happy to back him to take this out.

ROI DE FRANCE 9/2 1PT WIN

15:15 - Ascot

Dylan Cunha is a trainer I really rate and he had FIREBLADE win on his first start under his name since switching from the Gosden stable.

I thought his win at Leicester was quite snug and a 5lb rise is not one that may stop him.

He goes up in class today but will love the ground again and I think the 5/1 on offer makes him a sound each way bet.

FIREBLADE 5/1 1PT EW
